Carole Megevand<\/span><\/span>, Country Manager for Kosovo at the World Bank<\/span><\/span>, visited the rehabilitated and modernized Radoniqi\u2013Dukagjini irrigation system as part of the IRIS<\/span><\/span> project.<\/p>\n

With financial support from the European Union<\/span><\/span> amounting to \u20ac9.1 million, the project enabled the modernization of the system through new equipment and advanced technology. Once fully operational, the system is expected to expand the irrigated area by nearly 4,000 hectares and significantly increase agricultural productivity in the region.<\/p>\n
